Vegetable rice

Materials needed


🥕 500 grams of rice

 🥕 Carrot (chopped) 50 grams

🥕  Leeks (chopped) 50 grams

🥕  Cabbage (chopped) 50 grams

🥕 Celery (chopped) 50 grams

1/4 teaspoon of turmeric

3 tablespoons of margarine

1/2 teaspoon of salt

setting

🍅 First cook this rice as you would cook normal rice

🍅Cut the above greens and carrots into strips 1/5 inch thin and 1 1/2 inch long.

🍅 Place a pot on the stove and heat it, add margarine and add carrots and celery to it when hot

🍅 When carrots and celery are half cooked, add yellow leeks and cabbage strips 

🍅Mix salt to the required seasoning and let it fry for about a minute

🍅Mix the cooked rice with it and remove from the stove

💚Enough for six people

Special: Cabbage changes its smell and taste as time goes by. Green kidney beans can be used instead if desired
